Gather & Grow Sessions
Weekly get-togethers for fun and friendship.
We run regular Gather & Grow Sessions (previously known as Open Days) for all women to attend. If you fancy popping along every so often, for a bit of planting, tea drinking and lovely company, these days are for you.
We do lots of different activities at these sessions, some of these include; digging, weeding, and sowing seeds. No previous gardening experience is needed- just come along and have a go! All welcome for as long, or as little, as you would like.
Information
You are welcome to join for as much or as little time as you like. At the weekend, the gate will be open until 12:30pm, and after that just call the number on the gate and we will come and let you in. You will be able to follow the blue signs to our garden. There are two entrances to the allotments, and we use the bottom gate on Carfield Lane (at the bottom of Meersbrook Road). Read more about how to find us.
We will be hosting Gather & Grow sessions at both our Baby Bloom and Big Bloom gardens. If you are looking for pottering, planting and seed sowing we would recommend going to a Baby Bloom Gather & Grow session, but if you fancy really getting stuck in with clearing and digging - Big Bloom is for you.
