What Have We Got Planned For 2021?

Okay, here we go! A year of uncertainty and promise. We have got absolutely loads of things planned for 2021 at Bloom, we are just waiting for Boris to give us the go ahead before we can begin. We are committed to making sure that all of our activities are safe and are done following all the relevant guidance an guidelines. However, this does make planning very tricky! We still wanted to share with you what we will be doing (whenever the time comes)! We will make sure to spread the word on our website, social media and mailing list when the time arrives for us to release sign up sheets and applications. If you’re not on it already, get on our mailing list. They get first viewings of open day sign ups, product releases and Bloom news. You can sign up here!

Open Days

We will be running at least two Open Days every week. These are for anyone to come a long to, for as long or as little as you would like. There is always a variety of different activities on any one day, or you can even just pop down for a cuppa. These days are all about coming together as a group, having lovely chats and doing something fun outside. These are super low pressure groups and are hosted by a Bloom Leader and a volunteer. During Covid times we have had to limit these to 6 people at a time through sign up sheets, but normally you just come a long. We will have to wait and see what we need to do for Open Days this year. We will keep you posted. The best way to stay updated about these is by signing up to our mailing list.

Gardening To Feel Good Groups

These are regular groups that run in 6 week clumps. They run at the same time each week and have the same group members, leaders and volunteers. These are small groups, with 6 people attending each session. These groups give us the opportunity to work together, meet new people and share skills. If you’re feeling a bit down, or anxious, and feel like some time outdoors doing something productive will make you feel good, come along! These groups are for everyone. We all have mental health and we all need to look after it. To express an interest in these groups, click here and we will get back to you.

Growing Groups

These are new groups for 2021 and will have more of a focus on learning about growing flowers, and gardening in general. These sessions are planned around teaching and learning, so expect to be doing a wide range of gardening activities and to learn about the more technical side of flower growing. These sessions will be ran by Sarah, who is the cut flower gardener at Chatsworth House so you know you’re in good hands. To express an interest in these groups fill in the short form below.

Alongside all of our groups that will be running in the garden, we are going to be offering loads more floristry based goodies. Obviously flower bunches to buy, but also workshops and classes. Keep your eyes peeled!
