Spend the day exploring the incredible biodiversity on our doorstep as we work together to identify and record all the plants, insects, birds, fungi, and other wildlife that call the garden home. A BioBlitz is a community-powered wildlife survey, helping us build a snapshot of the species living in our green space and better understand how we can support nature in the future.

Whether you're a seasoned nature enthusiast or simply curious about the wildlife around you, everyone is welcome. Expert ecologists will be on hand throughout the day to help identify species, answer questions, and share their knowledge about local flora and fauna.

This is a great opportunity to learn about urban biodiversity, contribute to citizen science, and connect with your local community while enjoying the garden. There will also be light refreshments and homemade cakes.

In this relaxed workshop, we’ll slow down and take time to appreciate the delicate beauty of fresh flowers and foliage. Guided by Liah, we’ll explore the beauty of flowers by arranging them into elegant compositions for sketching, then use a variety of drawing techniques to capture their unique textures, shapes, and colours.

Whether you're drawn to the gentle curve of a petal or the intricate structure of a leaf, this session invites you to look closely and connect with the natural world through art. We'll be working primarily with coloured pencils and soft pastels, allowing for a gentle, expressive approach to mark-making.

No previous drawing experience is needed—this is a supportive, beginner-friendly space where curiosity is more important than technical skill. Liah will offer live demonstrations, one-to-one guidance, and practical tips throughout, helping you develop confidence and discover your own drawing style.

Join us for an introduction to The Art of Deep & Health Giving Rest. During our time together you will be guided through some gentle movement into the restorative space of Deep & Health Giving rest in the practice of nourishing Yoga Nidra, sound, poetry and story. All finished off with tea and treats. 
Noela, a qualified Pilates and Yoga coach, though now retired, is passionate about rest - pure and constructive rest. She will offer a space to understand how and why rest is of the utmost importance. 

In order to get the most out of your rest, you need to be as cosy and comfortable as possible.
Therefore, please bring blankets, pillows, cosy jumpers or whatever you have to make the most out of your experience.
Yoga mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
