When Claudia Winkleman came to Bloom 🌸
In September, we had the pleasure of welcoming Claudia Winkleman and The National Lottery to Baby Bloom to help them share the stories of how playing the national lottery helps good causes all across the UK.
Claudia Winkleman is travelling the nation to reveal the difference that is made to people’s lives each time someone buys a National Lottery ticket. In a series of short films the TV presenter is seeing first-hand the impact National Lottery players have on their local communities.
The powerful and emotive films cover the difference The National Lottery funding is making to grassroots projects supporting the arts, communities, heritage and sport - including Bloom! Only 7 organisations were chosen from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and we were proudly representing the north of England. Claudia was accompanying a local National Lottery player to reveal the life-changing impact made possible every time they play, proving that the difference is made ‘Because of You’.
Claudia and the team came to visit us on an incredibly rainy day and together we; planted seedlings, drank tea, arranged flowers and chatted all about what we do at Bloom and how the funding from the National Lottery has helped us grow.
In her role as Ambassador-in-Chief, Claudia will continue to champion the inspiring stories and incredible people across the country whose lives have been transformed by National Lottery funding. Claudia’s journey started at Bloom and we are very excited to be able to share our film with you! 👇
